In Arabic, Tarjimly means “translate for me”. Tarjimly is a free translation application which connects volunteer translators with refugees and immigrants who need to communicate in their native language with their aid workers, legal representatives, school officials and other crucial services in a new country in real-time via a smartphone. Currently, Tarjimly is available in sixty languages, including Pashto and Dari.
Over the last few months, Tarjimly, in partnership with AACO and in collaboration with the Law Office of Spojmie Nasiri, PC has stepped up their efforts to assist thousands of Afghan refugees evacuated from Afghanistan and currently living on U.S military bases and in cities across the United States with translation services in Pashto and Dari.
Tarjimly and in collaboration with the Law Office of Spojmie Nasiri, PC aims to bridge the huge barrier for not only the newly arrived Afghan refugees, but also for those in the community trying to assist and resettle the Afghan refugees across the United States.
